Best Time to Visit
All four parks offer excellent game viewing year-round. The 10-day itinerary's inclusion of the northern Serengeti makes the August - October window particularly significant - this is when the famous Mara River crossings reach their peak, with massive wildebeest herds crossing back and forth between Tanzania and Kenya in near-daily dramatic spectacles. The calving season (Jan - Mar) on the southern plains offers a different but equally extraordinary experience. Tarangire and Manyara peak in the dry season (June - October).
