You’ll fly from Zanzibar at 7:00 am after a pickup by our driver from your hotel in Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, you’ll check into the park and start a full game drive in the Mikumi floodplain for a very wonderful experience. We recommend this safari for you and we’ll take you to the deeps of the park within just a few hours!

Daily Itinerary
Mikumi Game Drive
Today you'll be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and drive to the airport for your flight to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you'll have a game drive till the afternoon. The Mikumi floodplain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. The animals commonly found here include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippos and elephants. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not cause damage to people.
At 3:30 pm, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar at 4:00 pm. Then, you will transfer to your hotel.
