Best Time to Visit
This itinerary runs year-round and offers rewarding experiences in every season. Mikumi game viewing peaks in the dry season (June–October) when wildlife concentrates around water sources. The Udzungwa hike and Sanje Waterfalls are accessible year-round, though the falls are most spectacular after rainfall (March–May and November–December). The Maasai cultural visit is available in all months. For the combination of excellent game viewing and full-flowing waterfalls, the transitional months of May–June and October–November are particularly rewarding.
